"It's just so good to be back in front of people, especially where I think everyone has just been stuck inside so long, especially young people... they've missed really vital parts of their life and now they're just trying to get out and have fun."
"The world's dark enough, why not put a little bit of light in it? Now even more than ever I know my place in the world, and that is to bring y'all some good tunes."
"We have a responsibility to inspire and try to do better for all of us because we're all humans and the same."
"People are dying to go to concerts, to feel that intensity in their veins with people they don't know... it makes people feel united and alive."
"Prioritizing queer voices, black voices, any marginalized voices, prioritizing those voices at shows and on bills... there's just an immense amount of talent and it takes very little effort to look for it."
"I think that when people aren't political that they're doing a disservice to their fans, to their community, and to everyone. I think it's annoying."
"I think during the pandemic it really laid bare to the world in general the real injustice in the way that we've structured our societies. It just doesn't make sense."
"Music has an extremely profound effect on our culture.“
